Multitenant, Branded SaaS Enablement Solution

Focusing on your core business, while enabling another level of service, is the key to new and established companies. With a multitenant approach to SaaS applications, you can deliver a unique experience to each of your customers and clients, without having to manage multiple disparate platforms.

The Next Generation Web Application Platform

Businesses can use the LongJump platform as the centerpiece to their own SaaS business. This robust, multitenant, brandable platform brings your ideas to market faster and minimizes the maintenance and administration across your clients.

Not only will LongJump reduce your development cycle from months to weeks, it accelerates your time to market, controls the costs and deployment of delivering solutions, and provide a mature, flexible platform for meeting ongoing application requests.

Is Your Company Becoming an ISV?

The web has introduce a new level of customer interaction that is becoming more and more relevant. But traditional technologies like .NET, J2EE, and other frameworks put the onus on the developer to create every element of an application from simple workflow processes to complex reporting. So if you are delivering any kind of hosted software, you are essentially taking on the role of an ISV (independent software vendor) who has to maintain and manage your web-based services.

LongJump changes the development cycle with a business application platform that enables faster application creating, less wheel reinvention, and greater control over applications deployed to your customers.

True Multitenancy

LongJump's multitenant SaaS architecture enables the manageability of providing ongoing code updates while still segmenting all clients on a single instance. Within LongJump, each client account is virtually partitioned so that its data and configuration for each client organization operates on its customized virtual application instance.

The result is that while the backbone remains the same, every account (and to some extent every user), can have their own personalized experience. Multitenancy also provides support for independent workflow, data model extensibility, and access control.

Define the Data Model

Organizing information into structured data objects is the fundamental step in creating most applications on LongJump. Using LongJump, you can quickly design a data model on the web by using the browser interface to create objects, manipulate fields and relate information. One way to think about data modeling is that columns in your spreadsheet are field attributes, rows are records, and referenced data are other objects.

Automate Processes

Once the data model is created, LongJump enables you to add additional automated processing to information that executes when data is added, changed, or scheduled. This enables you to specify information that triggers other actions to take place such as validating information, executing a workflow, sending an email, changing data, or some custom Java process.

Create Reports

The built-in view and report designer provides a sophisticated, yet simple wizard for users to create and manage their own reports. LongJump also enables multiple data sets to be filtered across tables or joined to form additional reporting schema. Once reports are created, users can add them to their dashboards for easy visibility into operational status.

Extend Applications

When more complex or comprehensive customization is needed, LongJump provides a suite of developer tools to handle forms, manipulate data, run custom processes or actions, or even write native user interface elements. All tools are standard Java or Javascript syntax so there is no new language to learn.

Complete Platform Branding

LongJump enables you to fully whitelabel the platform, from login screens to email notifications, even down to the copyright message, so customers associate the web application services you provide with you, not us.

Your Platform, Your Service

For ISVs looking at purely PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) solutions, you are subject to one uncomfortable reality: Who owns the applications, data, and customer relationships – you, or the PaaS provider?

LongJump's platform alleviates the business risk giving you to have full control over the services, applications, and customers you provide. It is one platform that is not a middleman, but an enabler.

Flexible Deployment

LongJump can be installed behind the corporate firewall, inside private data centers, or within a cloud computing or infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) provider (e.g. Amazon EC2, Rackspace Mosso, etc.). This offers organizations the adaptability to use virtualized resources as well as traditional servers to host the platform.

Release Management Tools

LongJump applications can be packaged for migration from one LongJump deployed instance to another. For example, development can take place in a cloud deployment and be deployed in production in a corporation’s data center. Applications can even be deployed selectively to certain customers and not others.

Industry Standard Stack

The LongJump platform is built using standard and open source web technologies and is written in Java and HTML. The backend database utilizes MySQL over a proprietary JDBC application and service layer. All requests and responses to the system utilize HTTPS, REST, or SOAP as transport. The policy, data, and session engines are all web-based.

Reliable, Proven Platform

With over 30-million user hours logged and over 400 companies large and small relying on this platform for critical business functions, LongJump's application platform is one you can trust to have gone through reliability, usability and product vetting. We use the same platform to host our own Relationals CRM and LongJump.com services.
